Java - Supported Configurations (Exact Financials 7.32)

Certain Progress OpenEdge components require Java:

  • PASOE
  • AdminServer
  • NameServer
  • WebSpeed / AppServer

Builds of Oracle Java after January 2019 may no longer be used without a license from Oracle. The last version of Oracle Java that can be used without additional licensing is Oracle Java 8u202.

Progress OpenEdge supports all builds of OpenJDK (such as AdoptOpenJDK and Azul Zulu OpenJDK) as of Progress OpenEdge 11.7.4.
